Making a quality decision once means we don't have to do it over and over.

Jesus washed his friends' feet and said they should follow his example and wash each others' feet. Have you needed your feet washed lately? Have you had your feet washed lately?

Jesus doesn't say, "Try harder." He says, "Come closer."

If I gave my daughter a gift, I'd be excited and pleased if she was delighted with it. I wouldn't wonder if she loved the gift more than she loved me.
